Introducing Our Courses
We offer a range of ESL courses from exam preparation courses for IELTS (academic & general) and OET for Nursing, through to Business English Lessons and English Conversation for immigrants and work-place visa holders in New Zealand. Specialised English Reading and Writing courses are also available for high school or tertiary level students or anyone else who wants to elevate their reading and/or writing skills.

English Conversation
English Conversation lessons feel relaxed and informal, but they are planned and structured to improve your speaking fluency, listening skills and pronunciation. Lesson topics can be based on everyday situations like workplace discussions, social events, buying products and services, or whatever you need to practise. Explore other available courses.
Business English
I've worked in many different business environments, including Finance, Accounting, Marketing and Administration, in both small and large companies. By using my English teaching experience and qualifications, combined with real life business skills, I can help you become successful in your current job or profession by teaching you the vocabulary and communication skills that you need. I can also help you find a new position by teaching you job application and interview skills.
IELTS Preparation
I'm an experienced IELTS tutor and I can help you achieve the Band Score you need in the IELTS exam. I teach both Academic and General IELTS, and we have an extensive range of resources, including past exam papers and high quality audio. Together, we can agree on a course of lessons that focuses on the areas where you need most improvement whether it's Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing, Vocabulary or Grammar.
OET for Nursing
These lessons are aimed at helping you achieve a 'B' grade or 350 points in each of the Speaking, Listening, Writing and Reading OET modules. A 'B' grade in OET is required for nurses seeking registration in New Zealand. I'll assess your current strengths and the areas for improvement across each module so that lessons can target the skills you need to improve the most.
English Reading and Writing
Reading and Writing is often challenging for ESOL students as it often involves a completely different alphabet and always a different sentence structure, or syntax , from what students are used to with their first languages. Reading and writing lessons are especially useful for people whose work requires writing in English, such as, emails, reports and presentations or students studying in New Zealand. Reading skills covered in our lessons include speed & comprehension, and writing skills covered include structure, format, meaning and clarity.
