Language lessons take place in a classroom at a residential address in Point Chevalier. The classroom can comfortably seat up to 6 students. Most types of lessons can also be done online via Zoom.

Lessons cost from $60 per hour for a private one on one lesson. Discounts are available if you sign up to a course of 10 hours or more. The cost per student is much lower if there are 2 or more students, so if you can come with a friend or two who has a similar English level to yourself it will be a much lower price for each of you! At present there is no minimum number of lessons you have to commit to. For IELTS preparation, we recommend a minimum of 32 hours of lessons if your goal is to move up half a band score, e.g. from 6.0 to 6.5.

All teachers will have, as a minimum, the Cambridge CELTA qualification for teaching English to speakers of other languages. For Business English lessons, the teacher also has a business degree and many years of experience working in a variety of roles in different business organisations.
